Ο Frank Zappa θεωρείται μια ιδιοφυΐα, όχι μόνο της μουσικής αλλά και της σάτιρας και της κοινωνικής του κριτικής. Μετά το θάνατό του, εκδόθηκαν άλλα 12 άλμπουμ. Το 1995, εντάχθηκε στο Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
σχολιάζω:
δεν καταλαβαίνω και πολλά εγώ εδώ στην επαρχία! δεν μας τα μεταφράζει όμορφα ο μυαλοπώλης που με κάνει και θυμώνω! από τη μια μεριά «παρεξηγημένο μουσικό μυαλό» και από την άλλη «θεωρείται μια ιδιοφυία»!
εμένα πάντως πάντοτε μου άρεσε και «τσακωνόμουν» για αυτόν με πάθος! οι περισσότεροι δεν έχουν εντρυφήσει στον Zappa – μόνο ακουστά τον έχουν και φαντάζομαι και ο άνωθεν μυαλοπώλης! μια από τα ίδια αγαπητοί μου αναγνώστες – μια λίγο από γιουβέτσι!
εγώ τον τιμώ και σήμερα και τον θυμάμαι όπως τότε στην Αντίπαρο που έβαζα για να χορέψουν τα κυριλάτα φρικιά φίλοι μου: Frank Zappa – Bobby Brown Goes Down
